EPR IQ is published by ReCirculytics Sustainable Solutions LLP (LLPIN ACP-5198), 318, Tulsiani Chambers, Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021. By using it you accept these terms.
1. What EPR IQ is
EPR IQ presents disclosures made by listed Indian companies in their Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reports, as filed with the stock exchanges. It reads those filings, extracts specific fields and displays them side by side.
It is a presentation of existing public disclosures. It is not an assessment, rating, score, ranking, audit, certification or opinion on any company.
2. What EPR IQ is not
- Not a compliance measure. BRSR does not collect quantity introduced into the market, so no fulfilment percentage against any EPR target can be derived from this data, and none is presented.
- Not advice. Nothing here is legal, regulatory, financial or investment advice, and it must not be relied on as a basis for any decision.
- Not complete. Coverage is uneven across companies and years. Reclaimed tonnage is a voluntary leadership indicator, so the absence of a figure means a company did not report it, not that the quantity was nil.
- Not verified. We do not audit the filings. Where a figure appears inconsistent we flag it rather than correct it.
3. Accuracy and corrections
We take care to read filings correctly, but we make no warranty that the data is accurate, current or fit for any purpose. Figures are provided as filed and as available.
If you believe a figure is wrong, use the report link on the comparison. We check every report against the source filing. Where we accept a correction we record it, date it and publish it on the changelog. We do not alter the underlying extracted data; corrections are recorded separately and applied at display, so what was filed remains retrievable.
Where our figure matches the filing, we will say so and leave it in place. EPR IQ reports what companies disclosed; it does not adjudicate whether a disclosure was correct.
4. Source of the data
Figures are compiled from BRSR filings disseminated in the public domain pursuant to regulatory mandate. SEBI circular SEBI/HO/DEPA-III/DEPA-III_SSU/P/CIR/2022/25 dated 25 February 2022 provides that such data be made available free of charge for viewing, for download in the format specified by the regulatory mandate for reporting, and for usage for value addition purposes.
EPR IQ does not currently republish the filings themselves. Each figure identifies the company, the financial year and the disclosure it came from, so it can be checked against that company's BRSR as filed with the exchange.
5. Your use of EPR IQ
You may view, search, compare and export the data, and cite it with attribution to EPR IQ by ReCirculytics. You may use exports in your own analysis.
You may not present EPR IQ data as a rating, score or compliance assessment of any company, misattribute figures, or systematically scrape the site in a way that degrades it for others. Bulk data requests are welcome by email.
6. Intellectual property
The underlying filings are the works of the companies that filed them. The compilation, the extraction and presentation, and the EPR IQ name and interface are ours.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ReCirculytics is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on EPR IQ, including any decision taken on the basis of a figure shown here. If you need a position you can rely on, engage us or another adviser.
8. Changes
We may change these terms and will update the date above. Material changes will be noted on the changelog.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
